Liam the Outdoorsman

Even though he was pretty sick earlier last week, Liam sucked it up and headed up North for his first camping trip. We stayed the first night at a cabin just outside of Sequoia National Park. The drive through the park was amazing seeing the change in terrain and climate. The Sequoia trees were huge, and there was snow covering the ground at the highest elevations. Liam enjoyed the scenery and the brisk fresh air.

We then headed up to Lake Don Pedro to meet up with Jess’s friend Amy for her husband Greg’s 40th birthday. There was a great group of people at the camp site, and Liam had a blast sleeping in a tent, going out on a boat, and playing in the dirt with other kids.

We were amazed at how much Liam enjoyed this trip. He absolutely LOVES to be outside in the “sunshine” :) Mommy and Daddy scored points with him big-time!
