Something about this yellow cube gets Liam all giddy...

I just had to post this picture of our sweet baby who will be 5 months old on Sunday! He is now rolling over both ways - but only when he wants to. He's having a great time with his Nanny Carol, and Mommy is getting back into the swing of things at work. We have put him to sleep upstairs for the past 2 nights, but he's still waking to eat early in the AM. Maybe this weekend we'll see if we can let him try to stay in his crib all night. We're starting to see a little more hair too - but it looks dark? Who knows what our guy is going to look like!

Although January is usually cold (low 60s) and rainy, this month has been incredibly warm so far and to take advantage of sunny weather we took the little one to chill on the beach, take in some surf, and generally lay down the vibe for all the ladies.

Can't complain about that view...

My mom came out for 2 weeks after Christmas to help us adjust to Jess going back to work.  We had a great time hanging out, and mom got to escape the cold and frigid temps of the Midwest to experience one of the best weeks we've ever had in mid-January.  Liam will now be hanging with, Carol, our new nanny, 3 days a week while Jess will work from home the remaining days.  Thanks Grandma!

Liam's camera crew put together this short film taped live during a meeting of the minds that happened last Saturday in Newport Beach.  Liam would like to give special thanks to his costar Carter Adams, especially during the sharing montage, for not drooling on him and for eventually giving his lobster buddy back.  enjoy
