Liam celebrated his 5th birthday with friends at Chuck E. Cheese. It was a fun party and the kids had a blast. BOTH sets of grandparents were out to join the celebration!

Liam has "officially" been walking for almost a month now and we decided to put some of his recent walks into video form.  I say "officially" because he's been able to stand and take steps for several months prior, but it wasn't till a month ago that he could take more than 5 or 6 steps in a row and more importantly he now walks more than crawling.

Here's a compilation of photos and videos from Liam's first birthday extravaganza during the week of Sept. 1st.  Both grandparents made their way as well as Greg's brother and sister.  We started out with the three of us on his real birthday, sept. 1st, and then the family rolled in a couple days later and we had a big party at Kate Sessions Park.

I'm pulling this video from the vaults, I think we recorded it about a 4 weeks ago when Liam was getting good at walking around the couch.  I still can't help but laugh at the sounds of farts and I bet you won't be able to resist either. Enjoy

Check out some early footage of Liam crawling.  He's actually gotten a lot better since this and is planning to compete in the 2012 Olympics in the 200m hurdles.  Gone are the days of him being content to stay in one spot.  Next up, walking, and shortly followed by that, hand stands I'm sure.

So I bought some Peeps the other day and was thinking what if Liam had a dream about them. I wonder what that would look like.... I wonder.

There are a lot of clothes that Liam is about to be too big for, so we decided to showcase a couple outfits in a mock baseball game... enjoy

Late Saturday night, December 13th, I was about to go to sleep when I heard what I thought was the usual PB police/fire siren.   I made my way to bed, but then I kept hearing more and more, and the rumble of large diesel engines seemed to be really close.  My next thought was that they may be closing the street for the parade tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure.  I went up to the roof and to my surprise, the apartment complex two houses down was on fire.  There was a lot of smoke, maybe 4 firetrucks, 3 ambulances and several other emergency vehicles.  Jess and I really love our rooftop, but I never thought it would be good for a front row seat of firemen attempting to rescue our neighbors by chainsawing through their roof!

Anyways, I happened to take some video, most of which is grainy since my little canon camera isn't the best at dark videos.  Very scary stuff overall, but I don't think anyone was hurt from what I can tell, and that old apartment has seen better days:)

Six days old and he's already broken into the music/film business with an expertly crafted music video about his life.  This epic bio-pic is packed with Liam's early childhood moments that would ultimately define his life as a newborn.
