Liam and Daddy went down to the beach to catch the sunset one day and had a nice photo shoot with a local surfer. Still surfing in the cold Pacific – brrrr!

Better late than never on this post! Our baby boy Liam turned 3 on September 1, and we had Liam’s friend Van come over for presents and cake. We took him to Legoland that weekend and he and Greg rode lots of rides. There are some token Lego Star Wars pictures for your enjoyment . Greg will have to work on the video and get that posted soon.

We got our first Christmas Tree this year and decorated our mantle with stocking to get Liam in the Christmas spirit before our big trip back to Indiana.

Last weekend Pete, my dad and I installed bamboo floors in the living/dining room.  Although it definitely wasn't without challenges I think they turned out really well.  I did lose a lot of respect for our builder that seemed to not know how to make a floor level, let's just say cardboard isn't a recommended building material here in California.  Anyway, thanks again to Pete and my dad (cheapest labor in town).
