We recently purchased the Canon Rebel T1i DSLR in hopes to producing much higher quality photos of Liam and his adventures. So far, I’m pretty impressed with the difference between this and our Canon Elph point and shoot, but I still feel like I haven’t scratched the surface. Hopefully we’ll get some better lenses and really get some nice shots. Here are some samples:
Stephanie & Snoop Ring NYSE Bell
My sister, Stephanie, got to ring the NYSE opening bell on Monday because of her involvement in an MTV program called, Movers and Changers. The short of it is that her and some other students developed a disposable umbilical cord cutter for use in developing nations. Movers and Changers is a yearly contest for students to enter their products/service ideas related to making a difference in the world. Because of her product getting selected as a finalist she gets to be part of a couple TV episodes and also got to “ring the bell” at the NYSE. My description doesn’t really do it justice, ask her or see the website for more details.

Congrats Steph!!!
Halloween Spooktacle
Liam took part in his first Halloween trick or treating as well as his first costume party extravaganza at our friend Pete's house and surrounding neighborhood...
For a detailed look at his historic journey check out his route in spooktacular Point Loma.

He was Nemo, from "Finding Nemo", and we were Dr. and Mrs. P. Sherman from 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney. Or for the people who have no idea what I'm talking about, the scuba divers from Sydney that took Nemo away... If you haven't seen the movie then it will really make no sense to you. So our costumes were really lame, but he looked great thanks to his outfit that my sister Stephanie bought for him, thanks Steph. Besides being incredibly tired and somewhat blasé about the whole thing, he ended up really enjoying Pete's party and was a hit with the "ladies" (older girls dressed as princesses, you know who you are.).
Liam Walking
Liam has "officially" been walking for almost a month now and we decided to put some of his recent walks into video form. I say "officially" because he's been able to stand and take steps for several months prior, but it wasn't till a month ago that he could take more than 5 or 6 steps in a row and more importantly he now walks more than crawling.
Please enjoy...

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch
We took Liam to the Bates Nut Farm out in East County this past weekend to pick out a few pumpkins. It was close to 100 degrees, and very crowded! It's a huge farm with hay rides and tons of family fun, but we couldn't take the heat so we didn't stick around long. Liam is walking these days, and we'll get some new video up soon!
